There’s something about a child holding a baby… even if it’s just a doll… that tells you everything you need to know about love.
That’s where this all began.
Not in a store.
Not with a business plan.
But at my dining room table… in our home… right here in our little town of Livingston, Tennessee.
I’m Mama Lee. I’m a mama to ten children… and seven of those babies came to me through adoption. My husband and I have spent over 15 years in foster care, saying “yes” to children who needed a place to land, a place to feel safe, and a place to be loved.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something…
Children understand love better than we think they do.
I watched my little ones rock their baby dolls, feed them, talk to them, love them… just like I had loved them. And it hit me deep in my heart… what if we could take something as simple as play… and turn it into something meaningful? Something that could help others see just how beautiful adoption really is.
So we started right there at home. A few babies, a whole lot of faith, and a heart full of purpose.
What I didn’t expect… was how many people would feel it too.
Little Mamas Nursery grew from those quiet beginnings into something so much bigger than us… but at its core, it’s still the same. Still family. Still love. Still that same dining room table feeling.
And now, in this small Tennessee town, we see families travel from near and far… some just down the road, and others from across the country… all coming here for something they may not even have words for yet.
When you walk through our doors, you’re not just visiting a nursery… you’re stepping into a moment. A feeling. A memory in the making.

Every baby has been held by my family… loved on, cared for, and prayed over. You may see my children helping… from the oldest to the youngest, 35 years apart, all sharing in something that means so much to us. Our youngest six were adopted through foster care, and they are the heart behind our name… the “Little Mamas.”
We believe in slowing down. In letting children nurture, imagine, and feel something real in a world that moves too fast.
Because at the end of the day…
it’s not really about the baby.
It’s about the love they learn to give.
It’s about the connection they feel.
And it’s about the reminder… that family is built in so many beautiful ways.
