How to Care for and Clean Your Silicone Baby Doll

Cleaning

Full silicone is wonderfully water-friendly, so your baby can join you at bath time, by the pool, or through everyday play. That said, a few gentle habits will help your baby stay beautiful for the long run:

• ✓Use lukewarm water and a gentle, unscented baby soap or mild dish soap
• ✓Pat and gently wipe down with a soft cloth rather than scrubbing
• ✓Pay extra attention to creases (neck, wrists, ankles) where dust and lint tend to collect
• ✓Air dry fully before dressing or storing

A note on painted features: every silicone baby is hand-painted with fine detail — soft blush, delicate veining, lips, and nail color. These painted details sit on the surface of the silicone, so frequent, prolonged, or vigorous bathing and heavy handling over time can gradually cause them to soften or wear. Enjoy bath time and everyday play, but try to avoid excessive soaking or rough scrubbing, and always pat (rather than rub) dry to help preserve those details as long as possible.

Avoid alcohol-based wipes, hand sanitizer, or harsh cleaning products — these can dull the silicone's finish and fade painted detail more quickly.

Hand-rooted and painted hair

Whether your baby has hand-rooted hair or a soft painted hairline, both need gentle care:

• ✓Hand-rooted hair can be brushed very softly with a doll-safe brush, working gently from the ends. Avoid heat styling tools, which can damage the rooting.
• ✓Painted hair doesn't need brushing — simply wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep it free of dust, and avoid scrubbing over the painted area.

Storage

• ✓Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight — UV exposure is the biggest cause of long-term discoloration
• ✓Avoid extreme temperatures (don't leave your doll in a hot car or near a heater/AC vent)
• ✓Lay your doll flat or in a supportive position rather than bent at odd angles for long periods, which can cause the silicone to develop stress lines over time

Dressing and handling

• ✓Wash new outfits before dressing your doll — dyes and rough fabric textures can occasionally transfer onto or gradually wear light silicone and painted areas
• ✓Support the head and body when lifting, just as you would a real infant
• ✓Keep away from pets, sharp objects, and curious little hands without supervision

A quick monthly routine
